The Loft was founded in 2010 by the Murphy Family. Starting out in a tiny upstairs location (Literally, a loft), it was small, windowless, but it was cozy and unique. We strived to create an environment where all felt welcome and could let loose! So with nightly entertainment, a full bar, and a wide beer selection, we began operations as one of the very few late-night spots in town. Our food was very basic and cooked in the basement kitchen of The Soup Cellar. We actually had to take an elevator or the stairs to deliver customers their food!

In August of 2015 The Loft moved into its current location at 843 Front street. After over a year of a grueling remodel to the upstairs of the Edelweiss building, it finally became what you see here now. We are very proud of the work that was done. Much of the work was done by friends, family and even Dave, Kathy and Aaron themselves. After over 10 years of operations, we’re still evolving and cultivating an environment of fun, inclusivity, safety, and excitement, prioritizing quality food and drinks with an enthusiastic, welcoming, and knowledgable staff. With an emphasis on certain sporting events, music, and other events, we aim to facilitate an environment where you can enjoy great food, good company, and fun entertainment.
